Prof. Vanderheiden's research focus is on design of mainstream information and communication technologies to be more accessible and usable by people facing barriers due to disability, literacy, digital literacy or aging with a particular focus on development of a global public inclusive and affordable infrastructure / interfaces for all. 

Jennifer Kelly, JD, has spent over a decade advocating for the needs of older and disabled adults in Santa Clara County. As the Seniors' Agenda Project Manager for Santa Clara County’s Department of Aging and Adult Services, she works to improve the lives of older adults through community engagement, outreach, and policy recommendations.

Aparna Pujar is the Founder and CEO of Zemplee, the world’s first AI-powered senior care technology platform. Zemplee utilizes Passive Sensors and Attentive AI to transform a senior’s living environment into a digitally enhanced care ecosystem, continuously supervising their health, well-being, and safety. 

Chris Navrides is a Sr Software Engineer working on Apple Intelligence at Apple. Previously he was the CEO of Dev Tools AI where they bring the latest AI advancements to the entire developer & test pipeline. Prior to that he was the VP of engineer at test.ai, which has built the first AI based mobile & web testing solution. 

Richard Adler's core interest is the intersection of people and technology -- how people adopt technology, how they use it and how they are affected by it. In recent years, he has been particularly interested in global patterns of technology adoption and use and in the development of innovative services to support an aging population.
